Based on the movie of the same name, "Miracle on 34th Street" tells the story of mom Doris Walker, who doesn't want her six-year-old daughter Susan's head filled with silly holiday notions. With Christmas approaching, Fred Bailey tries to woo Doris by charming Susan and taking her to see Santa Claus at the Macy's department store where Doris works. Susan becomes convinced that this Macy's Santa might just be the real Kris Kringle. Filled with humor and beloved songs like "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," the heartwarming holiday musical is fun for the whole family. This live performance of the original 1940s radio broadcast, complete with a live foley artist and a twinkle of holiday cheer, stars Alfred Molina, Peri Gilpin and Beth Grant on the stage of the Pasadena Playhouse.
